If you agree that drill music influences the kids in Chicago, then what's your point, really? You said in your post that black people discourage listening to it for 3 reasons:
If you concede that drill music influences the kids in Chicago, then it stands to reason that you'd see why "conscious" black folks would discourage listening to it for reasons outside of the ones you listed above. Do you need to go back and revise your original argument?
"conscious" black folks like C Delores Tucker discouraged the listening of gangsta rap in general..... but you missing the point breh.
Drill/Trap music is convenient for pretentious types to rally against, because it's so transparent/primitive..
I do wish he would leave the guns and drugs alone for his own personal safety tho.
