Cancel Culture is this boogie monster which I find very similar with how most people feel about taxing wealthy people. They don't have a business and they’re not wealthy but the way they vote is because they see themselves in rich people shoes, even though it’s 99% chance they’ll never get there.

People worried about being cancelled like they’re celebrities or have a platform, but you’ll never be in that position and most times the person really being cancelled is a dirt bag. Cancel culture thrives on social media and a disproportionate amount of people worried they’ll be caught on that SummerJam screen doing some wild shyt when 99% its Karens and racist cacs.

Not true at all we live in a social media era anyone can get canceled.

Cancel in what sense. Minorities have been cancelled since the idea of race as divider was invented.

Our freedoms have always been cancelled. We fight everyday to overcome constant forces that cancel our basic existence.

I mean as far as making it more difficult to view or listen to their product, or like the example I gave with that MJ episode of The Simpsons, completely removing it from their platform. Even in cases where their product hasn't been touched, you'll be shamed by people for even admitting you like said product. Of course you don't have to care, but people need to mind their business.

It's exactly what happens when a movement becomes too big and gets hyjacked by the influencers and power players. It's a wrap on the organization's credibility at this point and even they know it. Even celebrities are steering themselves clear of wanting any part of the organization.
