Personally I'm just happy both of them are successful. Unlike a lot of y'all nikkas, I actually enjoy hearing about black people doing good for themselves. Gives me hope and motivation for myself.

It doesn't have anything to do with being successful and pushing boundaries. It also has nothing to do with race. People are hated any time they outgrow or won't fit into the boxes they are placed in. That goes for any facet of society.

Here in America, we like to build people up and place them on a pedestal. They become our champions. Then, when we feel bored with them, we cheer for their downfall. It's even better if the same people that became our champions fall a part personally and professionally on their way down.Take the current president for example, a lot of people went to the polls and voted for a person that they had ballooned into a super hero in their mind. Once he was elected and didn't perform on their watch or did what he wanted them to do, he became the villain. Same thing happens with music. These artists are ballooned into some mythical beings praised to high heaven until they no longer perform like we expect them then we feel the need to bring them back down to earth by tearing them down.

u hit it on the head...this happens in every aspect, plenty white people hate Justin Bieber,people of every race hate Kobe and Floyd Mayweather,people hate Will Smith and Kevin Hart now....once it becomes popular it HAS to become overated to somebody who didn't like it much in the first place or was indifferent to it,sometimes its true sometimes it aint....some people really feel the need to constantly go out of they way to remind people that something is overated,i don't get it but that's what it is.

but jews (whether you believe them to be genetically related to the characters of the bible or not) suffered for thousands of years at the hands of european christians. the holocaust was the final straw, not the only component.

Self hate my ass. Yea they are successful and have tons of money. That don't mean I have to worship them like the rest of you. What have they done to help the poor communities they come from? When the Jews came into this country they slept in stoves and shared one pair of shoes between 6 people. Now look at them. They own most of NYC. Why? Because once one of them got money and power, they went back and pump their resources to uplift their entire community. Same with the Chinese who started as railroad track builders. I mean... rap is marketed like Pop music right now and Pop is for teenagers. Its intentionally marketed this way. The rappers are older than they were during the golden era and yet their content and the direction of their records are more juvenile.
