Do men have a responsibility to help mentor younger males who don’t have a male role model at home?

I have been doing this my whole life with young dudes and girls. I kick it with a lot of chicks that have kids and the pops ain't around. At the least, I filled them up with information to help them progress mentally.

During current times, I'm pushing young folks to pay attention to politics and make sure their friends are on the same tip.

I'm a hood nikkas to the core, but my passion is people. If I can help better somebody, I'm gonna do it every time

I'm not even a man, but if I had kids I always pictured I would let them invite a friend to go places, come eat dinner or go shopping and I would try to make sure that friend was a less fortunate one.
These are kids that my kids would be around so it's basically taking care of my kid to another degree :manny:

Yes because thats where culture comes into play uncles, grandfathers, brother in laws, friends of the family and athletic coaches have raised many men without fathers into good men. Environment also plays a big role as well.

However in America when many come from broken families and there is high proportion of single mothers there are issues that will impact availability of good men who can help mentor the younger males.

honestly at this point I think its the only way we can really save the community. So I think we should.
This alone is not going to save the community. I believe the community needs to focus on preventative measures as well to reduce broken homes, in addition to that mentorship.
