Do men really ask women what they bring to a table?

Nikkas can't tell a shiftless woman vs a woman thats actually an asset? Own car, living space, work, cooks and clean behind herself.. Involved with her family, avoids drama, etc.. People cant just see how someone moves over a period of time, and just know what they bring to the table..

Im really curious because im aware of the terminology, but I didn't think people actually asked that..

Just because you got something doesn’t mean you’re bringing it to the table, per se. you should ask direct questions to get direct answers, assumptions leave room for miscommunication.

Personally if I ever got married again I am not putting 100% in shyt, my house will be in my name and we can split the profits off what we make together but I’m not giving up what I already worked for and rightfully neither should she. And that works both ways chances are if I’m making moves like that I’m already moving money around without her knowing.
