Anyone who thought Mac Jones is on Purdy's level is a retard who shouldn't be taken seriously. They were 5-3 with Mac. The most points they scored in any game was 26. With Purdy in there the team has AVERAGED over 30/game. :mjlol:

It's not even close. I just told you what the difference is between the two. Mac Jones can't run. He can't create. He doesn't process as quickly and he can't throw with anticipation like Brock.
He still got the job done. Shanny tailors his offenses to what he has. With a gang of injuries as well

Shanny is the best coach in the league bar none, but no- Brock Purdy is all Brock Purdy, period.

You don’t go from Mr. Irrelevant to top 10 QB by just being a good system, doesn’t happen. Yall needa get over his draft selection and use your eyes, walked that big bad Fangio defense yall overhyped down even with 2 picks.
This
They still won games, all those QBs did. Shanny finds a way to get his QBs and offenses going.
No not all of them. Nick Mullens and CJ. Beathard didnt win shyt

See, now it's about them winning games and not about "Everyone in Shanny system plays like that (Purdy)". And no breh, the backups haven't won with Shanahan. Mac Jones is literally the only one with a possitive W-L record besides Jimmy G. So what is even the argument here? :dead:

Jimmy Garoppolo 38–17
Brock Purdy 31–8
Mac Jones 5–3
Nick Mullens 5–11
C.J. Beathard 2–10
Trey Lance 2–2
Brian Hoyer 0–6
Sam Darnold 0–1
Joshua Dobbs 0–1
Brandon Allen 0–1

Come on man, 75% of that list is either a super bum or didn’t play long enough to form an opinion. Garoppolo is 38-17 with a SB appearance that alone is working to my point

I like Purdy but Taxman point I agree with. Without Shanny he’d be closer to just another QB than some great one yall claiming

I'm not claiming he's a great QB, I just posted this in this very thread :dead:

Idk why Brock gets people so riled up. He's a good QB, not an elite one. He's makes mistakes and more often that not he tries to do too much and force shyt when it's not needed. But he's also pretty damn clutch, is really good at scrambling and has shown he's better than others at executing Kyle's system.

But every time he plays like shyt people are like SEE HE fukkING SUCKS :krs:

And if he does something positive is SETTLE DOWN HE'S NOT THAT GOOD :damn:

Like, why push back so much against a plain ol' good QB :manny:

Some of y'all are so Skip Bayless/Stephen A. wired that just can't accept he's good so y'all start searching for anyone doing hyperbolic claims about Brock being "elite" or whatever and fixate on it for no good reason :manny:

Purdy is average and it will comeback to get them like it always does in the playoffs. Purdy still had his usual to's, it just the fact they were masked/covered up by Philly's abysmal play.

:mjlol: at the bold

Brock better than Average

an average QB is someone like Dak or Love

na…. they were Average QBs.

Again, it’s crazy yall be so quick to want to dismiss Brock but then claim some the QBs there never been to a SB and barely make the Playoffs these so called great elite QBs but make excuses for their failures.

There are only about 4 QBs in the league who wouldn't be Just Another Guy if they were put in a middling scheme with middling talent around them. Those 4 QBs are in Tier 1. Purdy is in Tier 2, which is good QBs that can play at elite levels given the right circumstances (coaching, talent, scheme). Shanny is obviously elevating his play, but he's proven he has ability beyond just what Shanny is providing him. It's not normal to be able to produce at the level he's doing this season.

Purdy's quick processing, anticipatory throwing and mobility has nothing to do with Shanny and that's why Purdy has a career passer rating of 104 in the league and nobody else in Shanny's "system" has played like that.

:mjlol:
Idk mac Jones looked just as good ngl

I agree here. Some said their wasn't much drop-off when Mac Jones played. For the reasons above, Purdy is the clear QB1 and he process much quicker than Mac and he throws with anticipation. I just hope the Seahags beat them again. I can't stand them because my boys beat them.
