****.... idk
Purdy is average and it will comeback to get them like it always does in the playoffs. Purdy still had his usual to's, it just the fact they were masked/covered up by Philly's abysmal play.

:mjlol: at the bold
nikkas just be talking outta their ass

So. Cal
Those aren't average recievers
Yea ok. Their best WR had 724 yards. Tell me more about how great they are when they drop balls in clutch moments. Last time the Packers had a 1k yard WR, it was Adams in 2021. They either injured or dont perform. What are u going to call them? Good?

Weren't they winning with Mac Jones too? at best he's an overpaid system QB
When Tom Brady blew out his knee in the first game of the 2008 season, the Patriots went 10-5 with Matt Cassel. What does that say about Tom Brady?

Idk why Brock gets people so riled up. He's a good QB, not an elite one. He's makes mistakes and more often that not he tries to do too much and force shyt when it's not needed. But he's also pretty damn clutch, is really good at scrambling and has shown he's better than others at executing Kyle's system.

But every time he plays like shyt people are like SEE HE fukkING SUCKS :krs:

And if he does something positive is SETTLE DOWN HE'S NOT THAT GOOD :damn:

Like, why push back so much against a plain ol' good QB :manny:

Didn’t the push back start since he was approaching signing his extension? It sounded like people were cautious since his extension would take away from their ability to spend on elite talent surrounding him. If he signed a Sam Darnold or Baker Mayfield contract people probably wouldn’t be as critical.

So you're saying Brock Purdy = Tom Brady:comeon:
Yeah that's exactly what I'm saying :comeon:

Brady is lowkey a system QB too
Basically every QB is a system QB. In professional football the quarterback is running an offensive system. Freestyling backyard football generally isn't advisable and not a way to build sustainable success.

To a degree but Brady and other qb's alike needed particulars for his legend to work. There is a reason he went to Tampa Bay.

That's the thing though, he didn't sign a top 3 contract, hell it's not even a top 5 contract (or even top 10 if you just take into account fully guaranteed money) and it's gonna look even less expensive in the next 2 years when other starting QBs get new deals.

Hell, the Niners can get out of Brock's deal in 2027 without paying the ass in dead cap money or much of any cap consequences.

So basically, he got a "good QB" contract. Not a "great/elite" QB contract :heh:

He currently has the 8th highest average annual salary among QBs. When you give a QB that much you’re not gonna be able to spend as much on other skill positions assuming you want to have a solid defense and linemen.

These contract numbers are all fugazi man, this isn't Madden Franchise Mode, it doesn't actually matter. Brock Purdy's contract isn't what's going to stop the 49ers from picking up the players they want.

Yes it does matter. When the QB is getting paid that much there isn’t as much money to spend elsewhere.
