Engineering...if you're entirely serious, if it's a 5 year program, add one year for an engineering co-op. It's not required, but it's strongly recommended.

If you decide to go into Civil Engineering, passing the PE and having it is required for most jobs.

You want to complete engineering school completely online? :beli: :dahell:

Now I KNOW you're trolling, it's not possible; you'd have no way to complete the labs and get the hands on experience in classes. You'll have to go to classes in person or find another career to go into. :stopitslime:

I’m looking at wvutech.edu but here’s what A.I. said

Yes, it is possible to earn an engineering degree online. Many accredited universities offer online programs for various engineering disciplines, including:

1. **Electrical Engineering**
2. **Mechanical Engineering**
3. **Civil Engineering**
4. **Software Engineering**
5. **Environmental Engineering**

### Considerations When Choosing an Online Engineering Degree:

- **Accreditation**: Ensure the program is accredited by a recognized body, such as ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).
- **Curriculum**: Review the curriculum to ensure it covers the necessary theoretical and practical components.
- **Hands-On Experience**: Look for programs that offer lab work or practical projects, which may be delivered through virtual labs or local partnerships.
- **Support Services**: Check for academic support, career services, and networking opportunities.
- **Flexibility**: Consider the program’s schedule and how it fits with your personal and professional commitments.

### Popular Online Programs:

- **University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign**
- **Arizona State University**
- **Georgia Institute of Technology**
- **University of Southern California**

Before enrolling, it's a good idea to research and compare different programs to find the one that best suits your needs and goals.

Breh... I don't know a SINGLE engineer who got their entire degree online. They may have taken some online classes, but all of them? :camby:

Better question: how are you going to participate in Job Fairs recruiting engineering students when you aren't on campus? And by the way, depending on the type of engineering the school matters A LOT.

Ok I’ll have to see how I can do this or find another path, I can’t just leave my current job.

If your job will pay for the pre-requisites, do that first, then worry about the engineering specific classes and what discipline you want to go into (this includes scholarships and aid you're eligible for). I do know that Purdue helps set up adult students who are in their engineering school with jobs so they can work and go to school there. And an engineering degree from Purdue is worth it's weight in gold, ESPECIALLY if it's mechanical/electrical/computer science.

Fresno, CA.
Civil and electrical are in high demand, with civil being less the less intense of the two.
Mechanical gives you the most flexibility, but isnt in as high demand.
