Would be deemed too toxic in 2020 and non-inclusive....

Will Smith would be seen as a predator since he didn't ask permission to rap to women....

Martin and Jamie would be called transphobic....

Theo would be put in skinny jeans and Vanessa would be swirling....

Steve Harvey wouldn't be a music teacher because they cut the music program....

For once i agree with a tweet.

A 90s cac aint watching martin or jamie foxx and understanding half of the references.

But a 2020 cac probably understands insecure better than i do :deadmanny:
If Martin & Jaime came out now. Y’all would call those shows c00n tv

idk if they're made for white folks but they're definitely made for Twitterfingers and The Root type lames. The only one I can think of not in that lane is Atlanta. They all make a point to throw in an interracial relationship, multiple gay black men, etc. They think they're being 'woke' but it ain't enough for them to just show strong black families.

Well I did ask you first, so don’t you think it’s on you to present these numerous positive BW centered Black shows.
No u quoted me 1st
So for u to demand u have to have proof for me to speak against :unimpressed:

But u can't answer and that says it all:jbhmm:

I agree somewhat.

But my view is more about how
a lot of these shows focus too much on trying to prove how black they are a lot of times. It becomes annoying. From Blackish, to insecure, to even these new BET shows in Twentites, and Boomerang

the shows come off corny to a point that it seems they are even overcompensating for something. And they are, alot of these shows are written by these come lately super woke blavity types, as well as nikkas that think that Black twitter is the spokes person for Blacks/ADOS.

Add in these shows and who they are appealed to and there ya go.

I might be wrong with this^^ but I have a feeling im not, because as @Booker T Garvey said about Insecure, is something you can say for alot of these shows. They all come across as Blavity/shea butter Twitter on television.
Martin or In Living Color would go straight to BET if they came out in 2020.
They wouldnt even go to that, BET is on the same wavelength to, Hence why they have shows like Twentites(made by he lesbian Lena Waithe), and Boomerang. Both those shows operate the same way as the others

You mean overcompensating like a lot of these fake faux blacks on here portray themselves as? I guess they would hate shows that show how I see most of these caricatures of black people on here.

I replied to you because you made an affirmation claiming that most tv shows benefit BW, so I asked you the question first but you are refusing to answer but expect me to answer a question that you asked. So why would I answer you if you are not offering me the same decency:jbhmm:

Btw I didn’t demand I asked you have to option to answer or ignore or in this case respond with a question and I will choose not to reply until I have been responded to.

I haven’t watched Atlanta are there black families and positive black male and female characterization? What is it about?

Martin with light skinned wife
Disrespectful to a dark skinned woman
Dressing in drag
Cole being super retarded
Hustle man
Jerome
lil Daryl
Bro man
Tommy lack of job
Martin loud behavior

Don’t get me started with Jaime or Wayan brothers lol
Ya I didn’t like Martin show myself ...a lot of colorist statements but the comedy was less corny and flat and still entertaining somehow.

I preferred Fresh prince, one on one (before she went to college), family matters, smart guy, that’s so raven, girlfriends, living single, oh man so nostalgic
