I plan my week around the leftovers. Cook big one night, eat easy for two or three days.
I've dealt with people who didn't though, n that legit pissed me off.
Go to a girl house, she got mad food just sitting in the fridge, going to waste. That ish is so first world wasteful that my blood boils.
When I was a kid, the troubles in Somalia were big on the news, n my grandmother would guilt trip me into finishing my food. Them hungry bighead kids would probably kill for a fridge full of recent leftovers y'all wasteful bums!

I wouldn't eat leftovers if I had a choice. It gross pulling out a cold plate from the fridge with that cold ass food smelling funky til you microwave it

All though I still eat it cause I try not to waste either

my father, mother, aunts, cousins, taught mi to never waste food. you'll save money and it brings some kind of discipline and consciousness in your life.

my father always preach, "there are people in this world starving and you are bless to have something in your belly. don't be selfish my son, be grateful and not waste food." so i don't mind eating the same thing for a couple of days. saves me money in the process. noting beats like left over food.

so, yes left over food is the goat.
