Exactly
Might as well set me in a morgue with a hot plate and some Sriracha

my father, mother, aunts, cousins, taught mi to never waste food. you'll save money and it brings some kind of discipline and consciousness in your life.
my father always preach, "there are people in this world starving and you are bless to have something it your belly. don't be selfish my son, be grateful and not waste food." so i don't mind eating the same thing for a couple of days. saves me money in the process. noting beats like left over food.
so, yes left over food is the goat.
I cook more than enough for one meal, so cooking once can stretch at least 2 days total. I hate wasting food too. They have too many choices. I cook so much now that eating out actually makes me sick. As long as food is refrigerated or frozen, what's wrong with reheating? Even reheating on the stove is ok. But I'm not tossing no food. I cook fresh breakfast every day, and maybe a quick lunch, but if I'm cooking baked chicken or beans and rice, I'm making more than one serving.Do yall eat leftovers or throw them out? My godmother's kids don't eat leftovers.Every day she throws out good food.
My dad likes homemade meals so I've been cooking at his house. My lil brothers tho would rather eat cereal or ramen noodles than make a plate and eat some leftovers. And since my dad doesn't like to eat the same thing over and over, I end up cooking every day or every other day. I end up being the only one eating leftovers and try not to let it go to waste.
I grew up with the waste not, want not mentality. Is this a normal thing or am I just cheap?
"Back in my day"Dude... When I was a child every Monday was leftover night. I still grub on some leftovers.

Best fuccin glasses EVERI don't mind eating leftover food if its from like last night or y-day... but I'm not tryna freeze shyt in tupperware and thaw it out or any extra shyt.
And I don't understand why old people want to try and save greese they cooked with or shyt like that.
I've been at ppl's house when I was a kid and they are washing disposable plastic plates... or keeping those big plastic McDonald's cups.
Sometimes you just gotta let poor people shyt go and upgrade your life.
I went ahead and spent 30 dollars and bought all glasses. So now there are no plastic cups at all. Everything is glass or porcelin at least.
And I threw away all those half silverware forks/spoons etc with the plastic or wood handles. So now all the silverware is actual high quality real metal.
One of the best decesions I ever made.
Nope I'm in VA at the moment.Eww
You still in NY?![]()

It's hard out chea... I be a beast on them sales... And frozen items tooThese days, I gotta make sure shyt stretches out to feed me for the week.
This employed but dirt broke life is for the birds![]()

Hell yes I do...save that $$ plus I swear something happens when the sauce coagulates in fridge then melts again around the food that makes it taste better![]()
