Who in the last 15 years is ANYWHERE near BIG yet along Tupac Skakur? LMAO
And you're one of those ppl. I can probably name 30 artists better than both of them... making music wise, bars, versatility, style, etc. Snap out of the 90s my nikka. I'm an 80s baby and can still admit the truth.

shyt...Jadakiss has been 10 times better than BIG since his career started (around the same time as BIG, right? )

His music is somewhat exaggerated (Bad to me, is his worse album), but his performance ability and his voice is not...

Michael Jackson on the Bad Tour is fukking legendary.

Michael Jackson during the 70s with the Jacksons performing live is fukking legendary.

His music videos are legendary.

Only people that are on MJ's level when performing is James Brown and Elvis

:comeon:

I'd like to see these 30 artist you got in mind..as far as Jackson goes..nobody you can think of is seeing duke..30 years later and the after shocks of Thriller is still felt, he took a cottage industry and turned it into a artform, broke racial barriers, dropped the biggest album of all time then proceeded to drop the 2nd biggest album of all time at that time in bad..would routinely go into award shows and clean shyt out..the man was a visionary, so far ahead of the curve and his peers, nobody has even slightly managed to catch up..and if you got someone in I'd love to know who?

What I said at the end of my statement should have told you i ain't about to argue with you. Taste in music is all opinionated, but if you're telling me MJ is the GOAT then you're too closed minded to even have a conversation with me my nikka

MJ in his prime in the 80s you could walk outside look up and literally see MJ smiling down upon you from the sky.

"Overrated" nah.

Dude was a one in a generation and that's putting it mildly kind of a talent.

There's singers in churches that can likely "out sing" him and yes to OP's point there's been singers since that are as good at STRICTLY singing BUT you've gotta piece the whole package together and that's where he's tough to touch.

The showmanship, aura, the moves, the style, the conviction. You see his DNA in forms of entertainment that have zilch to do with singing

He was so far ahead of his time in a ton of regards. Listen to an acapella of that guy singing, they're easy to find. Just his vocals and how he captures emotion.

It's that that separates him and makes it tough to compare him directly.
