I'm not saying they can't figure it out eventually, but they got more L's than Cool J (3L's since winning the O).

People thought it was bad when Dex won then dropped to 3rd the next year, and he went from 1 to 4...now beaten by the person in 5th.

I think Samson looked good, better than the O, but the legs are not back yet. I know this hurt, plus his stock is taking a beating, since he is beatable. If I'm placing near him, it gives me hope I can beat him, just like Martin did.

He could even go the James route (lol) with a European coach to take over or assist in person if they don't want to use one of the other coaches with tons of athletes in their stable.

I would think Samson has more potential than to be a one and done
losing to midgets too
but that division has a lot of competition and Andrew up on the rafters like 98 Sting lol

yeah Samson losing all that tissue in a short time at this stage in his career his a huge fumble. Luckily I know a guy who is an expert at getting size quickly.

so as someone that just lightly follows this on IG and for the tentpole events, is it normal for bodybuilders to be so reactive when it comes to coaching

like I saw Nick fired his coach who was also supposed to be one of his best friends

Keone won the O and still fired his coach. I presume Amanda will be doing his coaching now. I actually thought she already was this whole time

Folks are saying Samson should get a real coach after these results instead of letting his wife continue.

Do they not just review the results and the process and going back to the drawing board?

Feels like the Quinton Beastwood/Matt Jansen fiasco from last year opened up the floodgates to bodybuilder empowerment.

Andrew has same coach, Chris Aceto. He changed his trainer from Psycho to I think Kamal el Gargni.

Kamal is with him in Romania now for Romania Pro this weekend.

I agree with Haney on this. If they are going to continue to reward these "mass monsters" then there should be a separate class that includes height. These shorter open bodybuilders do not look good at all.

I feel like guys didn’t have coaches until like…the late 90s or early 2000s.

Ronnie did but he probably didn’t even need one. Once he got the gear knowledge from Flex, he was probably inevitable.
