My view in Jesus Christ is that he was not a real flesh and blood person but more of a mythical character. The name Christos it's self was a title not a name. It is possible that at one time there was more than one "Christos" and they merged them into one character. The christian bible writers co-opted this myth for their own purposes.

My belief is that He's the only way to eternal life, OP. Any other way is false and the reason they are false is because you'd die with unrepentant sin and the wages of sin is death (the second death for humanity). Sinless blood atones for sin and Christ's bloodshed at calvary will atone for the sins of all in humanity who put their trust in it. Personally the reason I believe the Bible is because of people's reaction to it and prophecies past and present that it mentions. Contrary to your auntie's words, you don't "go to Church" you go to God. Going to church is for fellowship with other believers but it has zero to do with salvation. The root of the faith is reconnecting to God through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Okay, but you are aware that non-Christians have also predicted the future?

One of my HS teachers used to drop knowledge about the pagan origins of Christmas, the true history of Easter and other things of that nature. When I was Sophomore I never payed attention to any of it and basically stuck my head in the sand. But when I got older and became a Senior I started paying attention and that inspired me to start doing my own research. I started researching things about the Bible that eventually lead to my belief system crumbling. I found out there was no evidence for the Exodus, Moses' existence, and Abraham's existence. Without those things being true there isn't much of a foundation for Jesus to stand on.

When I enrolled in college later that fall I took a Philosophy class and a Jewish studies class taught by a Rabbi. Attending those classes basically sealed the deal for me.I learned that the Bible doesn't make sense without the oral Torah, there are actually over 600 commandments in the Bible, and that Jesus didn't fulfill any of the Messianic prophecies. My Philosophy class taught me a lot about logic, specifically circular logic which was the way people around me tried to prove the Bible. I learned about other religions and other belief systems. By the end of the semester I was completely done believing.

You never believed.

Typical response which I've heard several times before.

"You were never really a Christian"

"You never truly believed"

:comeon:

No, don't chalk it up as an "typical response." It's not to say that whatever you feel isn't true, I won't tell you that you're wrong, don't mistake my words. But I will say this, when you LIVE what you believe, you won't be swayed the way that you were.

No you're saying the same exact things I've heard from Christians. I was swayed by logic, historical evidence, and a lack of evidence to support Biblical claims. You can live by the Bible's commandments but that doesn't mean the Bible is true.
