I use to because I was born into believing it (everyone forcing it on you as a child, parents making you go to church, etc). After a while I just started questioning things about religion and started studying up on other world religions. Now i don't believe anything, but thats me. I can respect if someone else believes something considering its really non of my business or role to judge or tell someone else what they should believe in.

Typical response which I've heard several times before.

"You were never really a Christian"

"You never truly believed"

:comeon:
Yeah, I was going to answer legitimately but that's the type of response I'm sure I'll get so :yeshrug:

The Wrong Side of the Tracks
He existed. He was Jewish. He was an 'apocalyptic' prophet. He was executed via crucifixion by Pontius Pilate. His followers saw him after he was dead.

The Council of Nicea had nothing to do with his 'divinity'.

The End.

you didn't breh.
when you become Christian you have to ignore everything that makes sense and not question a man made book.
you're suppose to pick up the bible and put your brain down.

Jesus
There are five gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and the Christian. Most people don't read the first four.

It's hard for people when they see those who are faking it out here (Long, Dollar, Jakes, Osteen, Hinn). Too many C.I.N.O., too many give 10 and turn it into 100.

We have gone from saying Jesus didn't exist to He did exist but wasn't divine.

No other book has been attacked as much as the Bible and no other person has been attacked as much as Jesus. Neither is going anywhere anytime soon. Christianity is more than a page from history. It is a promise given from Jesus to those who accept His gift.

I'm going to assume you are asking if I believe in a higher power.

No, I don't.

I mean Jesus may have existed, but the case for a "god" isn't convincing at all.

I believe you have to function with the basis that things are false until proven true. Which is why the burden of proof is on the believers.
