I'm proud of my people's heritage in America

The progress we've made and the progress to come

Many great leaders, many great movements, strength

Not a proud American in the classic sense

Per my political views the only things I need of the U.S. is....
  • The ability of African Americans to govern over the local jurisdictions(city, county, state, etc) that we reside in within the U.S..
  • Access to the U.S. marketplace to buy, sell, & import/export goods.
  • Access to the federal government in order to keep abreast of, set, and propose policy.

At the absolute least the above is the bare minimum of what I really care about concerning our stay in the U.S. this place could be struck by an asteroid or overrun by martians for all I care. As long as the above are in play I'm good. I have no desire to assimilate into or rep the U.S. I just want the 3 points outlined above.
