Do you have a cutoff for oldest movies you'll watch?

No but I naturally gravitate toward movies from late 70s and up.

I like older shows more than I like older films.

Interesting, I'm the other way around.

TV was pretty much antenna only until the 90s, so all of those old shows were subject to FCC censorship.

Movies had a lot more creative freedom

I would rather have 4:3 than fake widescreen where they blow it up even though it was never filmed for widescreen
i absolutely hate cropped or blown up movies and tv shows. i hear disney streaming has done this to all 4:3 simpsons episodes and only plan to offer the original format sometime in the future. that is ridiculous

Yeah that 's awful. You might be able to change the aspect ratio in the settings, but I'm not sure.
