Do you have a cutoff for oldest movies you'll watch?

Man, if they're scared of old/BW movies there's no damn chance they're going for subtitles lol.

Roughly 1970 for me

I can't get into black and white movies, and even the color movies from the 60s mostly seem too old timey for me.

Then when the 70s came, movies started to become more explicit + gritty, and just seem to have aged a lot better.

Early 70's is about as early as I go as well. Pepper to that, there's no cursing or nudity and everything was pretty corny.

My wife hates old movies but has no problem with subtitles.
