I just can't imagine not having seen, like, Casablanca or Double Indemnity or any Hitchcock film because they're "too old"

Not a cutoff I just can’t watch Cowboy movies. Can’t stand watching them. That why I never got into RDR2. My dad loves cowboy movies though.
Oh yeah and WW2 And Holocaust movies. shyt just played out and boring. I’m not watching no slave movies ether. Jesus movies too. No thanks.

70s were when movies started to have a timeless feel IMO, movies like Taxi Driver, Exorcist, Godfather all hold up fantastically.
Not really but I haven't really watched anything older than the 20s. Haxan, The Wizard of Oz, Metropolis are all great movies to me. Freaks was ok, Citizen Kane is a classic supposedly. Aristocats was a great animated film that got started on in 1962 and released in 1970. Tales from the crypt movie came out in 72. The godfather slasher film Twitch of the death nerve came out in 72 also
