I work with a dude that made a career change from finance ("not meaningful work" he says)


I'm looking to go back into media. Finance isn't meaningful work especially when you're not front office. The culture is rotten from the top on down.

What are you currently doing in back office? Operations or fund accounting? I use to do fund accounting at a hedge fund for a short stint after I left public.

I usually tell my superiors and the people I'm cool with that's it, word always gets out anyway and I'm not like the weirdos on here I have good relationships with other human beings.:manny:

Marketing. Client and prospect outreach/relations. We're important but don't generate revenue and get treated like it.
