A lot of nikkas. Especially in Ohio....the DMV, too. Before the south got popular, that's what nikkas who didn't like Wu tang listened to. Then No Limit came out.

They just don't know breh. In the 90s the South, West, and Midwest were a big musical family.

Cats in the South loved Deathrow, Ice Cube & Mack 10,Too Short & E-40, C-Bo, Bone Thugs, Dayton Family, Do or Die, Twista, etc. The West and Midwest loved Scarface, UGK, DJ Screw,Three 6 Mafia, early No Limit, Eightball & MJG, etc.

That's why so many of these artists stayed collabin' and touring in each other's cities.

Eh, I grew up in VA and I thought he was literally the wackest cat on planet Earth in my youth. Me and my homies used to laugh our asses off at Sprinkle Me.

That being said, I'm more open-minded now and while I still am not a fan and don't own any of his albums, I have heard enough to acknowledge that he is a talented and unique artist. Maybe I'll check out an album of his one day.

"I keep a bucket of acid by the do', just in case I gotta throw away my yo(yola)".....Show me one rapper giving u that level of game in two bars...the world jacked his slang...he had a house by Gary Payton way back when...grinded independent than got that situation with Jive....He did it his way and was always original.... He has more game in his verses from 20 years than the majority of the rap game today....u still have an opinion on him for him to be so wack....he doing something right....

It dropped on Sick Wid It, which wuz e-40s own label

Sick Wid It is a sub-division like Aftermath was/is to Interscope. E-40 is signed to Warner, and has been for a long time. Having a label deal is not independent. In that case Jay-Z was on his "independent bay area grind" with Rocafella Records.
