i had to learn this the hard way when i invested in nintendo consoles during the n64-gamecube days. a lot of my friends completely ignored those consoles even though i was enjoying some of the best games i have ever played during that era.

everybody i knew was acting like ps1 was the second coming of christ and i couldnt ignore the fact that in those days the long cinematics and cd quality audio was impressive

when i mention millions of other gamers, i mean early adopters. they are preferring ps4 by about 2 million and media functions dont appeal as much to early adopters as they do to late adopters.

In the countries where both are available they are about equal. X1 has yet to launch in most of the world.

i care about multiplats on consoles for the reason i explained, breh, pc doesnt always get the best and sometimes it doesnt get them at all.

Which games are you talking about? The only one that fits this criteria is nba 2k, which is identical on the two consoles.

So there was no need for you to come with the "better multiplats" argument, unless you were just trying to prop up one system by promoting its percieved advantages.

i think when you consider that i was a child when this console came out, kids had to go all or nothing if their parents werent down to buy all consoles, so if you didnt pick the more popular one in your circle, you were kinda ass out when it came to being in the know on what was happening in gaming, being competitive at their games, and you couldnt borrow games.

i was missing out on all that namco stuff like tekken, ridge racer, and the square stuff like final fantasy and bushido blade. it was kinda ridiculous what i did sacrifice in order to make sure i had zelda, goldeneye, mario kart, etc. i had to experience a lot of sony's games later

Eh. I was like 6 or 7 when they dropped too. Had both of them, but never really fukked the playstation much. Wasn't into RPGs then. Think I was too young to really get too heavy into them. Me and my pops STAYED on Mario Kart, SSB, etc though. Them classic franchises

and i think we are having a bit of a miscommunication. i am not strictly speaking about which multiplats i like that are out now, i am speaking about gamers in general based on their actual buying preferences. also, im pretty sure assassins creed is running at 1080p thanks to the patch while the xbox 1 cannot, so it appears you are arguing from a place of emotion right now. lets end it here, breh. i cant be the only one carrying this conversation with honesty and logic.

That's just the thing. When it comes to advantages for Xbox like the media features and exclusive games you use your own opinion to downplay them.

When it comes to advantages for playstation your own situation doesn't mater and now your speaking about "gamers in general"
