Most people won't even actually need care from someone else when they're older
US healthcare industry is a trillion dollar industry for a reason. Home healthcare industry is a 300 billion dollar industry alone growing to 1 trillion in the next ten years. We will all get old and need help of some kind at some point

:mjlol: at people thinking their kids gonna take care of them when they get older.

:mjlol: thinking ur wife will still be around when u get old.

MFers going thru all kinds of headaches for most of their lives, just cause they think these people are gonna be wiping their ass when they get 90.

Your kids ain’t really going to take care of you and you may have to take care if your wife before vice versa. Not good enough reasons in my opinion

Better off hiring a PSW

My mom and siblings and I took care of my dad until he died from cancer :yeshrug:

What’s crazy is my grandparents died the same way

Maybe that’s not realistic to expect anymore.

Wife and child

Man seeing family's make me so happy man.

My uncle is part of a dad's group on Facebook and one of the dads posted a video his 8 year daughter sparing and all the dads were giving her pointers lol. One of the dad's is a boxing coach and offered to coach her for free because of her potential lol.

Videos like this make me wanna be a dad so bad, this reminds me of my boy's daughter

It definitely happens but not as often

And quite frankly a lot of our generation simply won’t have the funds or space available to accommodate living with and taking care of parents

3 of my siblings have no kids, as well as many of my aunts and uncles have no kids. And we're doing great
Good to hear. All my siblings have kids and I don’t.

I love my nieces and nephews and that’s enough for me 🙏🏽

I think my time in the military made me lose any desire for marriage. I've seen too many ugly divorces and know too many people stuck in unhappy marriages. For every happily married couple I know, there are four others who are just together out of convenience or for the sake of the kids. One of my co-workers is going through a rough patch with his wife, yet he was trying to convince me to get married.

Honestly, it feels like he just wants me to be as miserable as he is.
I’d never get married ever again. I also advise people against it 😂

Have a wife and we really brainstormed having kids. Instead, we're leaning more on being the "Rich Uncle and Aunt" then leave our inheritance to our closest family members with high-achieving kids.

I got cousins' kids graduating from top schools (M.I.T, U.C Irvine, etc.) majoring in everything from Physics to EE and some double majors. Their kids and grandkids can probably make more use out of that money than I ever will. 10% will go to charity the rest to help the rich and successful in our family build a strong lineage.

I get to invest in potential all without the headaches of actually doing parenting. Solidify the top end and give them even more advantages.

Additionally, the way I see it, I won't have a brain to care when I'm dead anyways so I'm less attached to a lot of the points/ideas people make about having kids.

Good idea. I’m the “rich uncle” myself but sadly I don’t know how successful my nieces and nephews will be :snoop:

I’m the only sibling that pursued higher education and I’m my siblings don’t seem to have the same mindset when it comes to education :smh:

I’d want my kids to attend an Ivy League school.
