2008 wcf shoulda put the kobe/duncan debate to rest. no shaq. kobe and duncan both leading squads in their primes. kobe bodied Duncan and the lakers won in 5 games. spurs had huge leads in game 1 and 5 only to have kobe take over in the clutch.
we learned that year what happens when you give kobe and duncan equivalent teams. kobe is better.

I remember the team being 6th in the West before Kobe got injured and sidelined for an extended period of time. That team was in flux also because of a midseason coaching change. I also remember this 1 star. Get off GOAT franchise dikk, it's football season ya bytch.
