first off i like to apologize if i came at you disregardful i just didnt understand the question but what you wrote here is dope.
i never said its because they are black men i am black myself i wouldnt say that.
it was bigger than entertainers as an example its just an example i thought made sense to show where we are heading.
i like your take on the new media coming out but i hope to see some results on the manner of influence some of the negative traits of human nature have been shown. we have to be kidding ourselves if we think that now most of us black brothers havent been schooled in treacherous acts. we all read robert greene we can all see that bad guys infact do finish first but i never thought that belief extended to black culture but with an influx of new bad guys after new bad guys. new tv show after bad guys after new tv show after bad guys its ridiculous.
we as black men are maligned and i think most are adorning this "nasty persona" to get ahead whether its a career or social circle.
its a snake life out here but serious props a good read.

Its an individual trait, the lens you're looking at this through is too broad when you should know way more regular ass people.
Maybe if worded differently you may have a point on the rat race influenced dog eat dog mentality in the west manifesting itself as stunting and whatnot. But it'd still be wrong once you take situations like Nigeria and the greedy practices there into account.
The romanticizing is just a bad look in general

but that treachery displayed in Nigeria is because of colonial wars and the after effects really so that's where a couple of these ill traits have been picked up.
why does coli think when someone says something not pleasing about black culture its automatically he must mean gun culture, relax with all that meet regular people. i co own a business and have a healthy social life. snakes everywhere.
this is about deeper science, like what you said about dog eat dog manifesting itself to us.

Man you can't blame the west for that shyt. That country produces some brilliant people but doesn't flourish because of the desire of individuals to have monopolize wealth and lord over the impoverished. Its no different than being "hood rich", the wealth doesn't hit the same if everyone has it.
Africa has practiced feudalism just like every other continent. Its a people thing
- smiling in your face while knifing you in your back (is a western world thing)
- being cold hearted and unsympathetic to anothers plight (is a western world thing)
- adopting harsh language and mantras like ie. "dog eat dog world", "nice guys finish last", "rat race" and etc. (is a western world thing)
- etc.
most our favorite people do the treacherous thing look at Jay for example, and the idols he shouts out and his ethos but this is bigger than that.
do you think that the black man has had to learn the unnatural treacherous ways? or we have always been doing it amongst each other too.

I think the treacherous trait has always been there. Once you study African history extensively, you’d discover that, because it’s the reason why Europeans were able to easily use divide and conquer to takeover the whole place.
Ever wondered how it was possible for a few thousands of Europeans that went to Africa to conquer millions of people? Well, it was because of treachery. How they did it: they’ll make a deal with one group, then use them as foot soldiers with sophisticated weapons to conquer another group. And then use the newly conquered group as foot soldiers to conquer the group they initially made a deal with. Rinse and repeat.
I think the only thing we learnt from Europeans is being cold hearted. But the problem is that we’re only cold hearted to our own kind while Europeans have found a way to mostly channel their cold heartedness to other race and they’re very vicious with it despite how frail they look.
Regardless, life/earth was created based on the principle of the survival of the fittest and the strong will always prey on the weak. Hence there predators and preys even in the animal kingdom.
