Wasn't it apparent that Trump was an idiot in 2016? I mean it's Donald Trump.

As far as polls go (if you believe them) very few Trump voters actually regret their vote unless they just don't want to admit it.


So it's possible that Trump could win by about the same amount as he did in 2016 unless a lot of people who didn't vote show up (and not to vote for Trump).

edit: I agree WI might be a problem, but after their debacle with republicans the last decade, if they still voting that way...well, if they die, the die.

We all know the EC favors Republicans. The question is whether 80K more Dem voters(or 80K less Trump voters) will show up in those states this time.

Guess we'll see but nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of American voters.

Nah Georgia would be the real threat. Open up a new possibility to break the Southern strategy.

Keep relying on this same Midwest states to stop drinking Republican kool-aid is killing us. Getting a diverse growing state(minus the Cubans) would send the Republicans scrambled.

Nah, Trump is definitely winning Ohio again. Ohio is no longer a battleground state. It's a Lean/Likely Republican state for the foreseeable future.

I think that the Democratic nominee will win back Michigan and Pennsylvania. Wisconsin is the the biggest question. Hopefully, the Democratic nominee spends a lot of time there and not just during the DNC (it's gonna be in Milwaukee).
