Do you think we will ever have a talent like Michael Jackson in the future again?

Someone with the same talent and fame like he had. Talent that billions of people across the world from India to Nigeria. Who crosses race and gender. Or do you think Internet and social media has made that impossible

humans have been around for about 150 thousand years before Michael Jackson was born

It took that long for someone that unique to appear on Earth

maybe it may take another 150 thousand years, or maybe it won't ever happen again

There’s always been unique people around fam.

Mike just happened to be born as the right time. Television, radio, the internet, newspapers & magazines. This allowed his reach to be global

Same with Jordan

Not until the current low brow, looking for a cheat code method of reaching the top of an artistic profession bottoms out.
Michael Jacksons, Jordans, Kobes, Princes, etc are created through the hard work of learning the one's craft and working at it until mastering it.
Michael surpassed his peers because mastery wasn't enough. He wanted to push boundaries and do things never done before.
It took him about 20 years to reach that point. We don't realize it because he started so young.
That approach is too time consuming and labor intensive and the current generations are not interested in those things at all.

Is Old Music Killing New Music?

No, and the above article explains some reasons why. I think that the onus is on the music industry right now, they won't allow people to like what they like and force certain artists down our throats and expect organic fanbases to exist. They need a new strategy in producing and promoting artists.

:russ: @ the thought of someone in ancient Egypt moonwalking down the pyramid steps.

Random Egyptians was like :ohhh: "When I get back to my town and tell them about this, they're not gonna believe it. Too bad we don't have a way to capture these moments to show to other ppl. Oh well :yeshrug:"
