he didn't?? wasn't he runnin it when he got injured against the ravens??

no it was a regular dropback pass, and the pressure forced him to scramble and ngata hit him while he was falling down, it was really some fluke shyt

So if Dr. Andrews is the guy behind RG3's total knee reconstruction, and is also the physician behind his rehab, and is also the physician doing weekly, if not daily checkups on him, he's crossing the line by observing him in practice and determining what is okay and what is hazardous to his health?

It's a physician's job to look after their patients. Dr. Andrews was involved with RG3's injury and rehab the entire way, and he's now following up on his patient. This is standard procedure. He's not crossing any line. If anything, the Redskins are just ignoring his advice like they did after he fukked up his knee in the first place after the Ravens game last year.

If a baseball pitcher tore up his throwing arm and had to get Tommy John surgery, would a doctor be crossing the line by observing his throwing mechanics a year later and telling the pitcher/pitching staff that he needs to alter his throwing motion because he's putting too much strain and torque on the elbow? No, because that's exactly what a team doctor is supposed to do.

The fact you even had to explain something like this on a sports forum is embarrassing :snoop:

Teams are gonna hit these zone read qbs so much this season that it'll dare the coaches to keep running it

so Redskins had been running it since Week 1 and 49ers/Seahawks joined halfway. You saying it took 17 weeks and an offseason for D coordinators to figure out that strategy? :stopitslime:

Great thread, lets all make opinions on RG3's knee based on how he affects my team of choice
I'm a Redskin fan, I get to see the things people outside of the area cannot see. RG3 is fine

Anyone on a rival team, your opinion is he's gonna die in 2yrs, he won't make it thru a season. Look at Mike Vick
But if it was Colin "Don't call me nikka" Kapernikka runs, its all good :salute:

The truth is, dis nikka gonna run this league for the next decade. Deal with it :win:

But he didn't even hurt himself running the read/option. :heh:

The media has really conditioned some of you guys.

All that you just typed is speculation. He didn't hurt his knee running the read option.

:myman:

The fact that he didn't hurt his knee running the read option has nothing to do with it. The Doctor is trying to say that now that he's had a major knee injury, he's damaged goods and running the read option opens him up to further risk.
shut your dumbass up :heh:

"wear and tear" dont lead to torn knee ligaments. Those are called impact injuries.

Running the read-option probably saved him from getting battered last year in the pocket. You brehs have no idea what you are talking about.

What @wingoz also reports: Dr. Andrews does not want Redskins to expose RGIII's knee to punishment during games.

This is why you take the classic drop back qb like Luck over the long haul because hell actually be able to be there for the long haul :mjpls:

With the Colts line, I dont think its wise to assume Luck will stay healthy. He got hit all yr and looks like more of the same this yr.

Dr. James Andrews is now disputing that he's worried about the Redskins' usage of Robert Griffin III.

"Not true," said Andrews in a text message to the Washington Times. "Team will use (Griffin) appropriately. No concerns."

shanahan sent the goons.. told his ass to stfu or :birdman:
