ATL paid.. Cali blazed
Exactly... These dudes don't understand rap is a feeling. They're so hung up on 16 bars of sterile ass flows.

TM101 is what rap is built on.
Dunning that year I went state to state and nikkas would be playing that cd front to back and certain songs were getting play depending on where u were I neva seen nothing like that tha only thing that came close was Mista Don't Play by Project Pat Guerilla Pimp was a anthem

TM101 for me. It's the last street movement that I was a part of. If you have never been in a dope hole listening to "Over Here" or "Air Force Ones" then I can understand. The Documentary is good, but its poll tested rap.

DUUVALLLL
I can't even believe this is a actual matchup :what:

TM101 by a LANDSLIDE. That shyt changed the focus of southern music COMPLETELY. There hasn't been a better album out the south since 101 tbh.

Documentary is one of my fav albums btw

Jeezy sonically started the trap movement (not TI) and changed the game. 101 is probably the most influential album since it's release and it still sounds fresh to this day, play it at a kickback and 90% of people know every word. There's a reason his 10 year concert for this was packed to capacity.

The Documentary is pretty much 50 Cent's second album with a less talented template MC in his place, put there by Dre as a "west coast savior". Every verse was just a bunch of rapper, city and brand name dropping with no quotables unless they came from 50 or Eminem add to the fact that the album is more about the production than anything Game has to say..dude was the little homie on his project. It's a reason he couldn't sell out BB fukkin kings for his 10 year concert.

Put Trap Music on the national map, first real Trap album that broke through the mainstream and being that Trap Music is still very relevant to day I'd say it changed the game

:camby:

Ya'll love re-writing history just to accommodate the stanning. Trap Muzik came out in 2003. It broke through the mainstream before you probably even knew who was Jeezy was (meaning that if you weren't on Come Shop With Me, you didn't know who Jeezy was until "Icey" or Trap or Die). That's two years before Jeezy even had stans. Before T.I. dropped that album Jeezy was out here sounding like a hybrid of Pastor Troy and Trick Daddy. Without Trap Muzik, Jeezy doesn't even sound like the Jeezy you heard on Trap or Die let alone Thug Motivation.

Without T.I. or DJ Toomp, Jeezy and Shawty Redd don't sound like what they sounded like on Trap or Die. Ya'll need to quit attempting to re-write history with this just to elevate TM101 and Jeezy. Before T.I. and DJ Toomp, Jeezy and Shawty Redd's sound sounded nothing like it did when ya'll discovered them.

With the exception of Go Crazy, his singles were :yeshrug:
Jeezy couldn't rap for shyt.
I don't like trap beats.

The Documentary was a great album.
I agree. I liked the song Trap Star too but Documentary was better.

Both of them were one dimensional content wise anyway so :yeshrug:
