What makes NYC relevant for black people? Unless you're wealthy, which almost every black person isn't in that city well removed from, NYC is prohibitively expensive and has one of the highest costs of living in the world - let alone in this country. It's extremely segregated, a division that is only widening thanks to gentrification that has displaced black families who can no longer afford to live in homes they've occupied for generations. Its streets are policed by a glorified gang of thugs whose sole job is to ensure that the wealthy white and non-black surrogate white elites are shielded by an increasingly impoverished black population. NYC is one of the worst cities to live in if you are black. :francis:
2 million black people live within the city limits of NYC, more than twice the amount of the next city. the whole metro area is one of the wealthiest for blacks in the country. NYC will be relevant as long as thats true :umad:

Lol he’s kinda right. Matter a fact we are in the shadow of DC, Philly, and NYC. DC only 45 minutes away and the cities are exactly the same size but it’s the nations capital. Philly is 90 minutes away but is much more similar to us. Houses are the same, slang, style of dress etc but has double the population. NY is NY. We get lost in the shuffle which is why this city has a huge inferiority complex

I dunno breh I used to stay out there between the 2 cities and I went to Baltimore way more

One night way back me and my homie was in some random ass hood part of bmore and asked some dudes where the hoes was at (we were like 19/20) and they pointed down this dark ass alley looking mad sheisty. :demonic:

We looked at each other like :yeshrug:

Walked down that sheisty ass alley, got to the end and low and behold it was a club full of hoes :blessed:

Baltimore been good with me ever since :myman:

Soon as u get in DC from 295 it's tranny central :scust:

the majority of blacks are broke :francis:

I don't disagree with that. But we are talking about NYC, where far too many broke ass black men and women have been swept up by the culture of NYC and deluded themselves into thinking they are actually living the life advertised by popular media. They aren't. I've been to NYC. Like every other major city in the northeast, the state of black people in that city - especially black men - is a depressing sight.
