Does anyone not like hosting / having lots of people over?

Yeah that sounds annoying. I'm particular about my personal space, my possessions, and how things are arranged. When you host a large amount of people you have to accomodate others. It just sometimes becomes stressful for me and I have to be in a certain mood to do it.

my rule is they can make themselves at home. just don't be going up in my bedroom. and if my kids aren't here, there's no reason for anyone to be going upstairs anyways.

the basement and first floor is more than enough for everyone.

It's hard to give a concrete answer to the OP's question. All I can say is, I was beginning to not like hosting anymore due to a lot of envy. But at the same time, since I relocated way down here in ATL 15 years ago, I miss it very much, especially now that I lost a lot of loved ones.

As far as hosting anything in my house in ATL like I planned to when I first moved here, that's off the table. Today, I feel way too much bad energy to even think about it. If most of my old friends from the DMV got worst, then you know trusting new people down here can take a minute.

I hate it. A couple folks over to watch the game or just kick it and play cards or whatever is cool. I just don't like having a bunch of folks I barely know in my space

I used to but not anymore. My place used to be the spot where everyone wanted to hang out. As I've gotten older, the less people around the better. Unless your immediate family or a woman I'm dating, you're not welcome.
