Do the Warriors have a new GM for the first time since 2011-12?

The warriors are the titanic , it’s over. Nothing but play in/1st & 2nd round exits til curry retires. Then they’ll be irrelevant forever like the bulls without Jordan

Man tried to do some two timelines bullshyt plan that included drafting Wiseman at 2.

Kinda did already.
to be fair, I have read Wiseman was Lacobs favorite, Lacob and his kids about to have a lot more control

He was trying to trade both Curry and Klay. Between that and the Wiseman pick, I dont have much faith in him

Whiffed on the number 2 pick

Basically whiffed on the number 7 pick. Kuminga didn't play much in the playoffs.

Mostly whiffed on every pick he ever selected. Aint not Steph's in DC to cover up his mistakes.

The whole damn Warriors organization needs a restructuring.

Jerry West saved this franchise from itself, because once he left, that's when everything came crumbling down. Steph, Dray, Klay and Kerr could only keep everyone from looking in the direction of what was really going on for so long, until everyone noticed the ruins. The 'two timelines' bullshyt will go down as one of the biggest errors in recent memory, and anyone paying attention could see it coming a mile away.
I was going to ask, was it Myers who's "genius" built the dynasty, or was it Jerry West's advisory that prevented Myers from trading Klay for KLove and picking Monta instead of Curry?

Warriors made some bad picks for years. Then got caught in two minds about developing a new young core and supporting Steph with proven vets, kind of leaned towards the young guys but not all the way and these are the results. Meyers fumbled the last four years, the only good thing was getting Wiggins.

:mjlol:at all of the plot armor/narrative flips in this thread. Now all of a sudden, Myers, Poole, Dray, Kuminga, Klay and etc are garbage. What happened to all of that light years ahead shyt.

The team is still in cap hell even though KD left years ago. A lot of misses on picks. That panic contract for Poole. The sheer hubris every time he talks. Just another bum carried by Steph.

:camby:

I just hope the internal promotion guy isn't as bad, because the team needs some serious moves at this point. Klay will have his jersey retired, but he can't show up shooting 1/10 in the playoffs and asking for a max in cap hell. Isn't he the 2nd highest salary on the team already? :snoop:

no one believed that. it was a cool soundbite, but it pretty much boiled down to "we have Steph curry, so we can afford to fukk up a lot"
