Does Kanye wonder if he'll ever be more successful in business than Pharrell?

Kanyes main goal is not to be commercially successful, the reason his "commercial shyt" isn't in the store is cause it sells out in 24 hours whether it's Nike or less known to the common man APC. He's trying to be "shyt you never heard of".

I thought he wanted to be the next walmart :dwillhuh:
 Forgot about that add Steve Jobs, Jesus, Bob Marley, Dr. Narcisse, Victor Lustig, Napoleon, Stringer Bell and Walt Disney as well.. Anyhow selling 5k shoes and only inviting "people you never heard of" might not be the way.

What I think is that he wants to be MJ, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Tame Impala and Gucci Mane at the same damn time. He wants to be obscure, not just have his brand next to BBC or Diesel sitting on the shelf a la Jay-z. Dude has done so much shyt to not maximize his profit.. The props from the right people seems a lot more important for him.

You guys must be idiots because BBC is still selling well, it may not be as huge and prominent as it once was but people wear it, it's still selling at high fashion retailers.

What's funny is BBC outlasted Bape :heh:

exactly

bbc ice cream is still very relevant and rocked by a lot of celebrities currently etc etc

Yeezus shoulda studied under someone like Nigo, which Pharrell did when Bape was hot. Even tho some people in the US knew about Bape, Nigo wanted to take it to the next level and thankfully for him, the Neptunes were on fire back then. So it was an even trade off. Pharrell learned the fashion game and Nigo got every dikkhead to wear Bapes and fake Bapes. After that, Pharrell was able to branch off and sell you overpriced camo shorts and shyt.

Kanye is trying to whine and complain his way into the fashion world, not realizing that you have to be a slave to these designers for like 10 years and then MAYBE you can build your name up. Him being famous don't mean shyt except that these brands can cake offa his name and keep it moving.

Who gives a fukk if he's a LV stan or can cop a thousand RL pieces? Any idiot with his money can buy all kinds of shyt and claim to be into fashion. This fukker wants to pay his way into it like its a fraternity. If that's the case, then come out with his own version of Shady Clothing because I bet more people wore that bullshyt than the first 2 Yeezus drops.

Don't know what that means.. Is it the same as when Def Jam didn't sign Nas? They partnered with him.
Or how Def Jam didn't buy Roc-a-fella they partnered with them (By becoming the biggest owner).
