I was gonna say draft a backup big, but the Knicks need to replace Kidd ASAP. Draft a PG and have him develop to where he can one day lead.

I've been saying this for years. He's one dimensional and if his shots aren't falling, not only does he have no effect on the game but he actually has a negative effect cause he keeps shooting.
Hopefully he matures like pierce did later in his career and will understand he won't win a title on his own and needs to affect the game in other ways, especially when his shots are falling.
Most overrated player in the league by far.

Naw, not really but he's not a max level player either. He's an elite scorer who is really fun to watch. He's like Nique when he was in Atlanta.
PP was a good defender, great team defender, and always had work ethic. Melo and him are different. PP doesn't have Melo one of kind scoring ability but PP has other things Melo lacks. With that said, Melo like PP doesn't need to be your best player or you aren't winning a ring.

The only one on that list I might not take over melo is wade
But if I'm building a team and going for a championship that year, I'd take everybody else on that list over melo and probably could add ten more players (at least)
There's way more team friendly players that don't need 25-35 shots that I'd rather have on my team that can help a team in other ways
Melo can overpower people and bully his way to hole whenever he wants. He settled for jumpers too much this season. I don't think his knee is right.
