Does the NBA have enough talent for 30 teams in this climate?

All stars never meant anything when talking about how good a team is in terms of talent.

OKC has 3 all stars and a DPOY CA but haven't made the finals since they had Durant and Harden.

Since we are still complaint and crying about an injured Cousins on the Warriors let me ask you this. If Cousins signed with the Thunder for that money would you be crying like you are now?

The warriors have an offensive system that most teams can't claim. Everyone eats over there because everyone is involved.

A system will always beat talent. We saw the Celtics do that against most of the east with Kyrie and Hayward gone.

The post should be how many teams have a competent offensive scheme.

That chart/picture is misleading and really has little to do with the question being asked. All Star selections are based on stats, reputation and team success...not "talent"

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were not all stars. But if they both played for Sacramento would you say the Kings lacked talent and should be contracted?

The only lack of talent is with the GM's and scouting departments.

By that chart the Heat & Rockets are same in the group, despite the fact that CP3 & Capela weren't all-stars and had better seasons than anyone on the Heat's roster

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
The NBA has more than enough talent, it's just not distributed well. The majority of the league an an all-star on its roster.

Of the 11 teams that don't Phoenix has DBook and Ayton, the Jazz have Mitchell and Gobert, etc. thee are a lot of all-star caliber and soon-to-be all-stars that weren't this season. Ben Simmons got snubbed from the all-star team for example, but it says Philly on has 1. Tatum is on his way to being an all-star for Boston.

Nope. Never has never will. It's pathetic when over half your teams make the playoffs and still over half of those teams have 0 shot. They need to contract everything but never will so this discussion, it's futile

There's plenty of talent. Just need to compel talented but weak-minded individuals to stop hopping on a bandwagon for a fake ring.

There's enough talent but are there enough good GMs and coaches though? :sas2:
This, unfortunately. Why though?

Why is that "pathetic"? Why should more than 25% of the teams in the league still have a shot at the end of the season?

There are 32 teams in the World Cup. How many really had a chance? Does that stop it from being entertaining? Come on now, they're expanding it to MORE teams, it'll be 48 teams in 2024.

Hell, you watch the Olympics where in most sports 95% of the field has NO chance for the gold, but do you ever hear anyone saying, "They need to contract the Olympics, why they letting so many people compete"?

Plenty talent it’s the lack of effort that
Is an issue it’s so bad I doubt incentives could fix it
