Does the NBA have enough talent for 30 teams in this climate?

Yes

Every team has a redeeming quality to me that make me want to watch. It wasn’t always that way to me. So I’m good

This is how I feel about it. Every team damn near has either 1-2 potential all stars or at least some up and coming young players. The biggest problem is the inbalance of quality teams between conferences. Leads to the bad teams being really bad in the west and leading to more high draft picks where in the east with so many bad teams they get inflated win totals so the bad teams don't end up as high pick wise. That and Golden State stockpiling so much talent leads to other players trying to team up and form their own super teams which leads to less star distribution.

No .... this is why you can’t have true parity in the NBA there aren’t 30 lebrons to go around or 30 Currys ... this is why historically the “dynasty” is so prevealant in the NBA ...honestly if they really cared about “competitive balance” they would contract about 4-6 teams

This, unfortunately. Why though?

Why is that "pathetic"? Why should more than 25% of the teams in the league still have a shot at the end of the season?

There are 32 teams in the World Cup. How many really had a chance? Does that stop it from being entertaining? Come on now, they're expanding it to MORE teams, it'll be 48 teams in 2024.

Hell, you watch the Olympics where in most sports 95% of the field has NO chance for the gold, but do you ever hear anyone saying, "They need to contract the Olympics, why they letting so many people compete"?

Because you have 22+ pieces of non competitive trash every single year. The Olympics is completely different you're stupid for saying 95% has no chance when usually the margin of victory is small, in everything except for guess what, basketball :dead:
Give me one reason Sacramento needs a basketball team? Give me one Memphis needs one?

You shouldn’t be criticizing the talent of the players but rather the “talent” of the GMs.

Just curious.... out if the BILLIONS of people in the world.....

And of just in America, of the millions of kids that play for the thousands of colleges.

Do y’all really only think like less than 100 of them are good and worthy enough to play on one of the 14 spots on 32 teams?

I just find it weird when statements like “not enough talent for 32 teams” is made.

How about draft better and not shyt on talented guys because of some past issues or help the guys that can really play out

They wouldn't though. :what:

Look at Omar Samhan. He 6'11" and 260lbs, strong and has good footwork, all sorts of post moves, a soft touch, AND range out to the three-point line. Straight up destroyed Richmond and Villanova in the NCAA tournament with some torture chamber-level interior dominance. But when he came up against a team even with borderline NBA talent (they had Udoh), he got shut down.

This is what he's doing right now. This guy would have started easily in the 1980s, but nowadays he can't make it past Summer League in the NBA and is doing the struggle-tour of foreign pro leagues.

Tell me what Kevin Duckworth did better than him. :sas1::sas2:

Never change breh.

I guess zaza is better than this dude you just touted then u tried 2 shyt on the dead. Smh

You don't even understand how it works, do you? Prolly just watch the finals and think you've seen the whole thing. :mjlol:

Sacramento? 17,000+ fans attend every game, Bogdan, Fox, WCS, and Hield are all worth watching, Bagley could be a star. And you have Zach and Vince both on that team too.

Hell, Kings have been championship-relevant more recently than, say, New York or Portland. :francis:

And MEMPHIS??? You seriously said MEMPHIS? That city loves that team and they've been one of the most consistently interesting playoff teams this decade, with an upset or near-upset more often than not. And if you took away Memphis there wouldn't be a single NBA team between Indianapolis and New Orleans.

Yes, he is. Zaza got a nice touch as is a better defender, rebounder, and thug. Was the MVP of the WCF for the Warriors last year.

And who did I shyt on? Now if you ever compare two players to each other you're "shytting" on one of them? :what:

bad front offices and gms doesnt mean there isnt talent, there is more than enough
gsw is an outlier

Felonious Caper alright:cape:
Yeah lets blame the front office:martin:
Some places these players just don't want to play because they are small markets, and they are worried about their brand.
The league won't nip this superteam shyt in the bud,so its not like players can be solo superstars on their team and lead a team to success, and become superstars by winning anymore.

Does any league? They had to make a rule in MLB that each team needs one representative on the all-star team. NFL has maybe 2 non-QB stars per team as well.

No.

The only way it'll happen is if the NBA develops these kids in their teens like they do over in Europe w/basketball and soccer. They get professional level training and coaching from the age of 13 while over here nikkas are getting coached by some random nikkas uncle and are playing against kids who have no business on a court (Zion Williamson) which doesn't help them at all skills wise.It helps for Youtube videos proclaiming that they are the next big thing.Take these kids with talent and coach them properly while they're young and by the time they are 19/20 they will be light years ahead of previous generations.

AAU/High School/NCAA ain't cutting it.

Paul George stayed in okc instead of going to la

Teams gotta make good impressions on their star players instead of trading assets or signing players to bad contracts like Noah, deng or mozgov. Orlando traded oladipo,an all star, for ibaka that's not the league's fault :pachaha: that's just a dumb trade
