Still think SA doesnt have the offensive firepower to keep up with GS:yeshrug:

Hard to see Klay and Steph shoot like this multiple times in a series:yeshrug:
We have the best defense in the league and I can't see the splash bros shooting lights out in a 7 game series against an elite defense and well coached Spurs team.

Interesting on the shooting % of Curry and Klay: I couldnt help but notice that Pop seems to have studied the NBA finals tape on how to limit these two: slow down the pace and dont give them their comfortable looks or airspace. Curry came back to play decently only after Cleveland failed to adjust for Iggy and it became clear that the Cavs were playing with a very short rotation.

You're obviously assuming they could or would of played better with Iggy, Bogut, and E.. am I wrong?

Yes you are wrong. I'm not assuming that. If those 3 players were playing tonight, that doesn't mean the team would've played better necessarily. They all could've had off games as well, further contributing to the loss.

I just wonder if this really means anything to the Spurs seeing as how they played as well as they could and rendered Steph ineffective and only won by 8. So when all the Warriors are healthy and back, can the Spurs play this well in a 7 game series.

I'm relieved to see a contender finally beat the Dubs but how excited can we be with this win if the Warriors still only lost by 8 while missing a starter in Bogut and two VITAL bench players in Iggy and Ezeli? Steph played horribly and they only lost by 8 brehs.

Is this really a win for S.A.?
Did the Warriors really win the title? :jbhmm:

I mean they did get forced to six games by a team missing their second and third best players.

But let me guess, that was different huh? :stopitslime:

The Cavs in no way compare to the Spurs. That alone makes your post and whatever you're trying to insinuate invalid.

nikkas hating on the warriors when they broke the monotony of having SAS in the NBA finals all the time :mjpls:

i think they're coming back with the heat the next time they face SAS.

its not like the spurs couldnt have been better offensively also. but the important thing is, is that they controlled the game. controlled the tempo. they made the warriors bend to their will. one of the reasons they were so off is because the spurs made them tight and uncomfortable. they couldnt get into a rhythm.

also, obviously it was big for the spurs to know they can beat them. its one thing to think, its another to go out and do it. they are not invincible. they are the first team to beat them all year in a game they actually got up for.

i wish people would stop bigging up the injuries to warrior role players. as long as their big 3 are intact they are tough to deal with. no one gave the spurs a pass when they lost without duncan, so the warriors aint gettin a pass now. they got outplayed.
