She doesn't make as much as I do and her job has been cutting her hours. She needs it for food and transportation . About once or twice a month.

is she someone you can see a future with - long term?

my opinion - if she is your girl, and someone you are looking to have longevity with (and vice versa), no problems with helping her out on occasion - it cannot grow into a habit.

Think the bigger issue is with her and the steps she needs to take to be a little more financially responsible. I'm assuming she doesnt live with her parents/guardian (ie. the food comment). Does she live on her own/with a roommate?
