I don’t get the sense that you’re talking down on Infamous in this thread. In fact i get the sense you think it’s a classic. So why wouldn’t you play it in the car? That makes no sense to me. Make it make sense.
:gucci:because its not, its music best heard through headphones, its not bump in your car music.

the grit is cool, but in regards to riding espescially in a state like I am in, that doesnt mold well.

A album like Dogg food and its crisp smooth sound is far more fitting.

I hated Dogg Food. Liked about 1 Kurupt verse and thats it..very disappointed in them for that.

Infamous all the way..Doggystyle is closer but not weak ass Dogg Food.

i will say this much.

@Sccit is smart for this thread. he knew dogg pound was gonna get washed but he just wanted to make a statement, and as a result, we got a double-diamond thread on our hands. dogg food is gonna get bumped up a few pegs, maybe even a couple tiers on this board. and it might spread over to other boards until it becomes a thing on the internet & social media.

southerners should take notes. im looking at that "400 degreez vs mista dont play" thread.
400 degreez is a much better album than dogg food. you could at least make an argument for it over the infamous.
but instead, dudes are wasting one of the few all-time classics they have, by putting it up against a f*ckin project pat album. Pat is dope but LOL. talk about de-valuing your own chit.

Some of the most out of touch posting I've ever seen. I can tell you as a Southerner, 2001 was a must have. That album was huge. Ground breaking album that definitely upped the ante on Hip Hop production and engineering.

i was down south when it was out.

south had hotter production.

streets dont care about no engineering and whatever chit you talkin.

:dwillhuh:

half of dogg food is more in line with an east coast album at the time.

only certain cuts really fit the mold that youre describing.

i dont know why people are in here classifying it as a g-funk album either.

Breh, 2001 was hotter than anything we had going at the time. Nothing was touching that album. That album was easily a bigger deal than G Code, Tha Block Is Hot, Hypnotize Camp Posse, Only God Can Judge Me, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't even know what engineering was because anything to do with talking about music, you ran away from and start talking about the politics of music (who got pushed, what got played where, the streets, etc.).

You're giving him way too much credit. He didn't think it would get washed the way it did which is why he changed the goal post to spin it into some kind of W for him and the west

@ISO saw right through that shyt too lol
