There are many items I buy that I just can't do the generic version of.

Ice cream
Soda/pop
Potato chips
Cookies
Mustard
Ketchup
Salsa
Bread
Juice

And miss me with that "it all tastes the same" bullshyt. Yeah, maybe to fat people who eat any and everything.

Kroger, which I love, has a very very low level generic brand on their shelves. It has "psst!" on all their products with an owl on it. One item they have is a big package of cookies for $2. No thank you, bytch. Give my my Oreos for just a dollar more.
Digital coupons:wow:

Try telling him to cut the CEO and execs wages, and he be ready to pull a gun at your face. :skip:

Some of these greedy capitalists are SCARED of lowering their earnings and lower the coat of living. People are now upset that kissing the corporate asses for decades ended them up with mere scraps.
Wall street run things & they need to see constant profits from these greedy companies . why are we as consumers paying 1000 ollars for a smart phone , enabling companies to dominate ecommerce & destroy local stores .

The states are behind on regulating these greedy companies & waits on the EU to drop the hammer by fining or regulating these companies to do the right thing .

Meanwhile, your government is paying farmers to not grow food, or paying them to grow soil destroying corn and soy every year that will mostly be left to rot and claimed on insurance or turned to chicken feed that will probably give your children cancer. All so the mega corporations that donate to them can import food and have a monopoly on produce.

But nah the government cant be the problem, it's those rich people. Give the government more power!

Should there even be a distinction between the government and (genuinely) rich/wealthy people at this point? Serious question

The government operates as their offensive line

We have a gov that pays farmers not to grow food and allows more chemicals and bullshyt in our “food” that any developed nation. I really don’t think these dollar outlets that are choosing over other stores are one of our bigger problems.

Economy is rapidly changed. Adapt or die

if i were poor and lived in teh hood id buy food at a dollar general before any of those arab/asian owned convenience stores
i'm not even poor or live in a poor neighborhood and there is a Dollar General 30 seconds away from my crib. the nearest "real grocery store" is 20 minutes away; so you know where I go for all my quick snacks, drinks, toilet paper, etc. Real shyt like the meat I'll take that 20 minute drive but thats only once a week or every other week.

No people don't need to stop saying the truth.
If you don't like where you are, seriously look into what you can do to improve your life.
Stop giving up and begging other people to save you, or think others have a obligation to improve your life.

The funny thing is people who are really about bettering themselves, don't care about the saying, because they are doing what they can to get better.

Its enablers of losers and losers themselves who cry about telling others to do better.
i make 80K/year and I have a problem with that saying. People that never been poor or (black) say shyt like what you are saying. Nobody is begging for shyt, people deserve a live-able wage, end of story.

No one deserves a wage period.
You earn a wage, the value of that wage is determined by the scarcity of the marketable skill you have.
end of story.

Feelings don't change reality, you aren't owed shyt just for living, people who are poor and moving towards better things, and people who were poor and got better know these truths.

I gotcha.... For some reason, in Alabama(well Bham and the surrounding municipalities), they are all in the suburbs... Not really sure why....
I lived in Bama till recently, Montgomery and Prattville and a bit in Millbrook and wetumpka.
Dollar trees are parasitic with Wal-Marts, they are in the poor areas and the middle class areas.

That said it might be different up in bham

lol, you lower the cost of living by providing incentive for people to compete to create homes and apts, not by artificially capping market prices.

The NYC price caps should show you what you advocate doesn't work in reality.
What people spend with their paychecks is their perogative not yours.
Economies grow by generating objects of value to trade, that those in the economy are willing to work to purchase.

Its funny how you instantly jump to genocide and mass murder as a option, instead of freedom and removing of restrictutions so people can serve demand.

You socialists of all types democratic socialists and commies are all the same though, you hide a complete and total lust for unbridled power behind superficial claims of concern.

Damn straight, it's the gulag or the guillotine. Choose now.

What, did you think I'm some type of a bytch? Nah, not me, I've always been up front about my brand of socialism: 100% obedience, or the gulag, or the guillotine. There's your freedom of choice! You got THREE options!
