He floated that notion in his first term and the markets dropped like a rock. Trump’s gross incompetence will inevitably lead to the implosion of the USA's economy.
No rate cuts? No 2.5 billion in renovations..
That's the person I've always wanted to be the President. I remember when she was running they were pumping out all types of proposals on fixing different issues and how to attempt to accomplish it.
Well on one hand, the fed as a board all make the decision on rates and Powell just regurgitates it but on the other hand, this does not look good for the US as a financial stable investment
He is trying to distract from the upcoming news that the USA is in a recession.. Powell will be his fall guy in this fiasco, because no sane person could explain how the US economy could go from multiple quarters of growth to recession in only 6 months of a new Presidency.

In 10 months, yes.
If Trump fires him, I'm sure it'll be litigated immediately and Powell will probably serve the remaining time...

Warren would be an FDR-esque President and she got nerfed. fukking shame, she wants to break up the tech oligarchy, invest in the country, is progressive yet can cross aisles and is fiscally responsible. I really think she had the tangibles to move this country forward for everyone... smh...
I'd still vote for her and would barely think twice about anyone else.
