Problem with broadly cutting taxes is 3/4 of the Federal Budget is legally mandated payments and that doesn't even include military spending. It's almost impossible to broadly cut taxes like this.

IMO, In order to "cut" taxes he has to do two major things first.

1) Repeal the trade agreements and have that successfully benefit our economy and get growth skyrocketing
2) Reform and simplify the tax code to cut out loopholes.

Most large companies pay well below 15% on their taxes. Closing local and offshore loopholes and forcing them to pay 15% no matter what will be a huge net positive for our tax base.

Thoughts on repealing NAFTA and foregoing TPP?

I hate TPP and I'm not really sure what the ramifications would be for repealing NAFTA. That said I think global trade agreements like this are largely handouts to corporations.

I dunno. The millions of Americans who are supporting his candidacy, maybe? Are you aware of the polling numbers that place him at the top and ahead of all other republican candidates?

Its funny you mention that. A couple of weeks ago I had a medical seminar I was suppose to attend in downtown dallas. Trump was there & you would've thought it was the pope!!! Basically downtown was shutdown, people were scalping tickets, wall to wall local news coverage, etc...

For the first time I was like damn does this guy really have a shot? We'll see come Feb-march is it fukkery or legit. It comes down to who can control the 24hr news cycle & trump as did that better so far than any canidate dem or rep. But when the media honeymoon ends, will he hold up?

Sounds like government is getting ready to be shrunk to near nothing...as it possibly should be...the reason he is saying its revenue neutral is because under him our revenue will fund a much smaller amount of government cost ...i.e. Cutting payrolls for government agencies that do virtually nothing ...this is interesting
