Platformers feel.........dated. They were the shyt back in the SNES/PS1/N64 days. Don't think I can go back to playing these kinds of games. These collect-a-thons. shyts not intellectually stimulating.

We don't care about graphics over here at Nintendo, breh . It's about gameplay and enjoyability over here. That's why the games retain value and don't be in the bargain bins.

That's people's problem now.. worried about graphics and power, whole time games be mid and the same ass everything else around

Iont know. I see comments speculating that they are trying to get away from "Rareware" designs and do their own things...and since Diddy Kong is rare's...

I know they’ve changed Rare’s designs, but I doubt they’re getting rid of the DK crew. Especially since they can be seen at Nintendo theme parks and in the Mario movie.

Yes this will be an insta cop. Def influenced by the Donkey Kong look he had in the SMB movie. But this is peak Nintendo in terms of the style and the colorful world.

I don't think they are doing away with the Kong crew either. They have been folded into the Nintendo lore for the most part.

When done well, they are. Odyssey, Astro Bot, Metroid Dread, Rogue Legacy, etc.
