Seems like a pessimistic outlook.
This is one of the best looking titles for DK since Donkey Konga. He's been stuck doing DKC for a minute. I think the younger generation will be all over this especially since it's building momentum off the Mario movie.

Showing Odd Rock (the purple crystal/rock) has a form of young Pauline. This can’t be a prequel because Cranky is in the game. Either Pauline transforms into a child, this is her kid, a rebooted timeline, time travel, or just a new character.

I’ve seen a few people in media who got to try the demo come out mixed on this which is surprising. This is the game that sold me the most on switch 2
i thought this would have been an easy goty contender

I think this will be better as a full release. As a limited demo you cant really get a feel of the games scope
