Landry and McCain were solid acquisitions this year, and Jelani Jenkins last year. Lamar is balling out this year. A lot of positives for the future.

Dion Jordan needs snaps at LB when he comes back

Why is everyone sh!tting on Hardline all the sudden? Did something happen in the game? I been saying Richard Matthews needs more snaps but he's not as sure a pair of hands as Hardline yet. Love to see him take some of Gibson's snaps. I like Gibson's nifty ability to get open in the middle of the field but he hasn't been the same since the injury
hes just gonna be a free agent and cant keep him most likely anyways

Be still has a chance to be something

I think they will put him at LB full time instead of Wheeler. He's shown that he can cover TE's(Gronk, Graham, Gates) and somewhat rush the passer....unlike Wheeler. The thing with McCain and Jordan is that one can do something better than the other; McCain is the better pass rusher but struggles in coverage(they use him mostly as a spy) while Jordan is a better coverage LB but struggles rushing the passer(hopefully he improved there). Jenkins, Misi, and Jordan should be our starters with McCain, Tripp, and Wheeler as our backups.

That youth movement though:wow:
Jenkins 22
Jordan 24
McCain 22
Tripp 23

Jordan was suppose to be a beast as a rusher but maybe he can do both eventully

I just realized how unlikely it is that we make the playoffs this year, brehs.

In the past 10 years, there have only been 3 seasons where the Pats have lost more than 4 times. We've already got 3 losses. So if we want to win the division, we're essentially gonna have to win out. Broncos, Chargers, Lions, and Ravens are ALL still on the schedule :heh:

Jags matchup next week and Vikings matchup in December are the only games remaining where we'd be clear favorites. In every other game, we're either the underdog, or it's a divisional matchup.

ZERO fukking breaks, man.

Game Notes

-The offense finally played to their potential
-The game went by quick as hell
-Bears O-Line was ready for our DL thus the little pressure seen on Cutler
-Secondary played lights out against the best receivers in the NFL
-The LB'ers limited Bennett and shut down Forte.
-Billy Turner needs to be the new LG, Pouncey needs to move back to C, and Smith play RG. Would allow us to run the ball more effectively and wouldn't frequently put Mike 1-on-1 with DT's.
-Landry may not be as shifty as ODB but continues to impress.
-Hartline is my dawg but its time to move on. Impressive in everything else besides getting seperation and making YAC, you know the things a WR are supposed to do. Want to see more Matthews since I think Hartline is gone next year.
-Tannetrill :ooh:
-Shad finally got a pick :mjcry:

-Clay is back :smugfavre:

The Jags are next. Their DL is serious, top 5 in sacks, so the OL needs to bring their A+ game. Bortles is playing like a rookie but you know this is one of those games where everything can go right for the other team.

Winning the division is unlikely unless we play how we did today throughout the rest of the season, that's not even possible. We're going to have to get one of those WC slots. I think 9-10 wins and we're in but they're not going to come easy and we're going to need help. We're at 3-3 now; I see us winning the next 2 against JAX and SD improving our record to 5-3 and 3-3 in the AFC, then lose to the Lions(5-4), then beat Buffalo (6-4 and 4-3), then lose to Denver(6-5 and 4-4), sweep the Jets(8-5 and 6-4), lose to Baltimore(8-6 and 6-5), split with NE (8-7 and 6-6) and beat the Vikings(9-7).The Lions game is a tossup imo especially if Megatron doesn't play.

he has like 8 drops and isn't getting open, not worth the money hes getting paid

Hartline is what we thought he was. We may have given him a little more cheese than he deserved for being a hard worker and Tannehill's safety net but he was never a YAC WR and we knew that. He's just a good set of hands. Sure he's had some drops this year but I blame the not getting open as often thing on the injury, really.

But as you all know I've been high on Rishard Matthews since last year. Remember im the one that kept calling him a poor man's Brandon Marshall over and over and some of you were laughing at me. The kid can play. His lack of playing time is one of the reasons i want Philbin gone. Who is our receiver's coach, anyway?

@Intruder v3.0 i said that about hartline because all his guarenteed money is done after this season so cutting him will be easy and i see it happening

Landry has stepped up and like you said Matthews deserves more snaps. Hartline unfortunately isnt worth the money hes getting
