Lo key this shows how black women don't face the same type of job discrimination
:sas1:

Trump doesn't have a problem with black women specifically. He has a problem with all black people.

It only appears that he targets black women journalist because the black male reporters don't get those white house correspondent jobs.

Exactly.

And he hates the CNN journalists more than everyone else. He spoke the same way to white Caitlin Collins, and Sarah Murphy, and revoked Jim Acosta's White House press pass.

That doesn't apply to African Americans though so I don't understand this post. That's Latin American socialization not Anglo American practices.

Angela Rye is African American
Her Parents.

The "ramapo", "lumbee", "melungeons, "jackson whites"....carmel indians, "redbones" were an actual group.
A lot got absorbed but many claim native with NO STATUS...kinda funny considering the chief of the cherokee at the moment is 1/32 cherokee by blood

Black lingo? I like angela but she might fukk herself up talking like this. You can't talk black, you can't act black, you can't slang black. You either are black or you aren't.

Few things in this word make me cringe harder than "talk black", "act black", etc. that same shyt she was using to roast the dude on air is the same shyt that sets us back in society.

Way better ways to say things, and in her position she knows better
She's "seattle black".

Yeah but they absorbed into whiteness or "Nativeness".

To say that the vast amount of light skin blacks did this in America is dishonest. Which I think that's what he is trying to say.
We AAs would look like a bunch of Puerto Rican's if that was truely the case.
I doubt Angela Ryes ancestors were apart of those groups.

No, THEY DIDN'T and NO THEY WEREN'T. There is no "universal AA look", AND 70% of PR (the island) claims white.
She might be just like Henry Louis Gates and other prominent black folks are...Angela R* is from SEATTLE, and the west coast has the highest amount of admixture.
The AA group has subgroups. Some of them separated but that's what it is.

We don't have universal look but the average AA is not going to look similar to the Average Rican ( they did practice drastic forms Of whiting the race. Like marrying into their own families to stay white )

My family is from Alabama and Virginia and what he is talking about just does not ring true in my family. My light skin Ancestors don't come from none of the groups you mentioned and never heard of them growing up from either side of the family. Actually only have a few lighter skin Ancestors on my moms side and they all lived around married dark and brown skin black people.

So I don't understand the light skin communities narrative. Must have been relatively small ass communities because Most of the black people I know never have heard them.

Not to mention it was illegal to marry cacs and openly fukk back then. It's was not illegal in Latin America.. Thus why blaquementio applies to them (Latin Americans) not African Americans.

Most of the "light skin" in many black families comes from slave rape and mulattos being absorbed into the black community right after slavery.
