If his "goal" was to "Reduce the Interaction Time" with the police...
Allowing them to search your car, actually EXTENDS the time, SMH!
No Black Man/Woman/Child in America, should allow a cop to unlawfully search their Car, House, Etc...
If the police say they smell marijuana coming from your vehicle, you’re in a tough situation. Courts have ruled that the odor of contraband gives officers probable cause to perform a search. For this reason, police are quick to claim that they smell something, and sometimes they might even lie about it.
All you can really do is say, “Officer, I have nothing to hide, but I don’t consent to any searches.” If they search you anyway and something is found, you’ll need an attorney to help you fight the charges. Unfortunately, police sometimes use tricks like this to circumvent your constitutional rights and there’s no perfect way to handle the situation. Of course, they are most likely to do this if they are suspicious of you for some reason, so do your best to stay calm.
Nowhere in that video was it implied or stated to hold court on the highways. He as a lawyer pointed out how to avoid getting caught by 4 particular trick questions. There was no talk about resisting anything, not answering any questions. So, you have proven again that you will twist what was actually stated to support your position. If the cop intends to plant drugs on you, they can easily say "I smell marijuana" which is probable cause for a search. From there they can plant the drugs.
but hey, I'll leave to yall to hold court on the shoulders of highways with white people.

They can claim the "Smelled Marijuana", AFTER I told them NO.
But under ZERO CIRCUMSTANCES, will I consent to an UNLAWFUL Search.

Seriously, following your advice would get a lot of Black men who are just minding our business caught up in problems while also stripping away our legal protection to even seek recourse after the fact. It is evident that you have never experienced a police officer trumping up charges on you.
Well let me tell you something, I have multiple times had police try to get something on me for just existing. My Uncle's wife was a Baltimore ADA though, and she clued me in on how to protect myself through the different attempts to trip me up. Hell, just my dark-skin and face seemed to be enough for them to attempt the, "You fit the description" moves. Other times, I have been pull me over because my vehicle seemed to be too nice for my complexion. Also, had them try to pin a previous crime on me, by stating I ate and dashed at a restaurant two days prior, when the last time I was at that restaurant was 6 months prior.
WTF! Do you not know what you are typing out. Are you assuming by not consenting, it means you are being unlawful. Seriously, you are making no sense. Of course you want their search to be unlawful, so that you have legal recourse when they try to mess you over or leave your car in disarray. If you consent then the search isn't unlawful, that's the point of the consent.

Ok, I have had an actual ADA tell me how to deal with these circumstances. We have a film of an actual attorney show us how to deal with 4 particular questions. Here comes you, in all of your ignorance, trying to speak against what experts have stated. If you get pulled over then you've already been caught up while minding your business. From that point your goal should be to minimize the time spent with police. If they're trying to "trump up charges on you", it aint too much you can say beyond that point anyway that will help you because their minds are already made up about what they intend to do with you.

What is your real goal in doing this?
I was with you until this, you can stop them from prying and have the stop be short. You'll just have to take the ticket.
I think he's deathly afraid of white people and continually will ask of black people to try to be on some sort of "prove yourself to them of being worthy of fair treatment" shytYou can comply without falling for those trick questions. Example, when I was pulled over for speeding and asked if I knew how fast I was going, I responded that my speedometer showed that I was going the speed limit.
