My thing you can’t ask me to live a certain way when I don’t know how you living in your apartment. This same shyt happened to me back years ago and I tried to comply at first. Then the neighbor under me a white lady and a breh kept knocking on my door for every little thing. Eventually I had to choose to go to war with them so I stomp them every day and they bang their roof for 5 months straight. One day the breh saw me outside and ask for forgiveness and shyt was cool from then on

I'm so glad I dont work nights anymore, used to wake up with 4 hours of sleep because my Samoan downstairs neighbors were bumpin music at 10am til like 4pm. Then the mexicans would have 48 hour parties.. This is what comes with apartment living though, so I'd be watching movie at volume 80 at 2am on the weekend

She a thick little cacette who could pass for mexican. racially ambiguous, kinda brown skin. Had a corgi dog in her arms too. Semeed nervous so honestly I just made her relax and said I understood where she was coming form, cause the same thing happened ot me a few years ago. Am I gonna smash?

Yes..once I left home went to college but stayed in a off campus house and when I finished college inherited my grandparents home.
I think it's more complicated than that. Going by the handwriting and wording this is a woman. Just from this thread alone, you can see the variety of responses that people give. Some people think this was reasonable, you thought it was passive-aggressive, others said they would respond by being louder and more aggressive in their actions.
This woman is the downstairs neighbor, they're strangers to each other and she has no idea what sort of response she might get from this request. Do you think she should've put herself into a potential in-person conflict instead of the letter she wrote?
