The funny thing is i really don't think these guys want to win titles they want their money being young.....the thing that started the title chasing when your young was the Lebron pressure.....He was 23-24 getting you need to win a title now...which looking back fukked up the NBA because now he had to win ....I don't think he would have left with out that going on ....

Suns and okc knew what they were doing. They purposely tried to drive down these guys production in a contract year to try make it easier to retain them and these players called them out on it.

And how do you know they weren't going to pay Reggie what he is worth? They offered him 4yrs $48M he said no & they could have very easily played out the year & matched whatever offer he got. You are worth what someone will pay in the NBA, playing lke garbage because you don't get your way isn't the best way to show or increase your value.

It was right after Russy & KD came back & Reggie saw he wasn't the guy on the team anymore. Reggie wanted to start at PG & that wasn't happening here. Waiters being here has nothing to do with Reggie playing like ass 90% of the time since Russy & KD got back.

i looked it up and it seems the radio host i heard earlier read a Durant quote claiming it was Russ

durant went in more detail with "We felt like everybody wanted to be here except for one guy."


russ simply said "We have a chance of winning a championship and if Reggie is not here we still have a chance of winning a championship."
