I listen to his music but in a rap battle it's no hold barred. Throughout the history of rap there's been disrespectful things said in a battle. I am just confused why he engaged in a battle if he wasn't going to accept the results. He would've been better off to ignore or bow out if he wasn't going to accept defeat. He did create some good records for the battle but Kendrick execution was much better.

At the end of the day, he will maintain his fanbase, but in hip hop circles he won't be looked at as the same because of the lawsuit imo. Majority of people just don't care about the lawsuit and only care for the music. Like why the hell i'm seeing a person named Kojo talked about? Multiple things can be true at once.

It's undoubtedly a bad look and hypocritical, but he got a case against UMG trying to smear him during contract negotiations.

He ignited the battle when he could have just started his summer like he had. He was expecting to when because he’s use to his Rich Baby Daddy cheating for him.
